About

I grew up in Groves in the 80's, listening to new wave and rock music and playing lots and lots of video games. After graduating from Port Neches-Groves High School in '93, I spent a couple of years at A&M wasting time working on a mechanical engineering degree and drinking... a lot. In '95 I returned to Groves and started pursuing a computer science degree and working in the industrial inspection field. After years of pittling in school, I finally got a computer information systems degree from Lamar Port Arthur and went to work for URS Corporation as an Analyzer Technician. I spent 8 years with URS maintaining gas chromatographs and developing software to control our systems and monitor their operations. In 2011 I hired on with Huntsman Chemical and an Emergency Shutdown and Programmable Logic Controller Technician, and I have been working there since.

In 2003 I married the love of my life, Brandi, and started building a life with her. We bought a home in Groves in 2005 and welcomed Paul Christian, our son, in 2008. We currently live with two dogs, Molly and Ellie, five indoor cats, Lelu, Ollie, Tyson, Jax, and Cooper, and two indoor/outdoor cats, Mamma and Itty Bitty.
